Court Information Regarding COVID-19

The Humboldt Superior Court Clerk’s Office Lobby located at 421 I Street in Eureka will re-open to the public for walk-in service from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. beginning Monday, March 15, 2021. The drop box at the Clerk’s Office remains available for filings from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Clerk’s Office staff remains available by phone at (707)445-7256 and/or email and continues to process all filings within statutory guidelines.

If you have received a notice regarding your scheduled court date please validate the date to appear by checking the online calendars on the Court’s website. Only parties that have been instructed to appear in-person will be allowed into the courtrooms. All other matters require appearance by zoom; please use the links above to join your hearing using zoom. Public proceedings can be viewed using the links above.

Please DO NOT call County offices for court information; review the information contained on this page or contact your attorney if you are represented. This website will be updated as needed, please refer back for the most current information.

Humboldt Court Information Regarding COVID-19

  • The Clerk’s office is open to the public Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm. You are strongly advised to use the court’s drop box for filing and to contact the court by phone at (707) 445-7256 rather than coming to the clerk’s office in-person.
  • The drop box is open for necessary filings- the appropriate number of copies and any payment required MUST be provided for filings placed in the drop box.
    • Do Not place cash in the drop box, only check or money order will be accepted- please write your case number on your check or money order.
    • Please note that documents placed in the drop box will be processed based on priority and urgency as determined by the Court.

  • All previously scheduled family law matters have been rescheduled by notice.
  • All emergency orders will be processed in the standard timeframes. Any temporary orders previously issued remain in effect and will continue to remain in effect until further notice.
